Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN as an SportsCenter anchor for news. She was hired by ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since age nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first position as producer assistant at Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she worked with the producers of programs including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was later recruited by the CBS station as an sports reporter. She moved in 2009 from Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become an investigative reporter for The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 2009, she moved to Rio Grande Valley in Texas and became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition, she was an anchor for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Then she anchor and wrote for Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was granted more responsibilities. She reported on The Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series, the Dallas Cowboys as well as the NBA Postseason and the finals for FC Dallas FC Dallas Stars. Apart from that, she also hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She worked as the anchor for sports on Despierta America Deportes morning show. She worked in the same position as Primer Impacto on UniMas Network, and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born there on the 22nd of November in 1985. She is more mature than her younger sister. In 1992 her family left Mexico and relocated to Miami. In the course of a few months, her father split from her mother. She later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, younger Collins was able to take a job with her older sister. Still a senior in high school and yet with a clear idea about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta went to the University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her preferences. The campus was a dream for her. It also gave her the degree she wanted. After graduation, she enrolled at the university with a media studies major. Mark Bergmann - her professor and manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. Mark Bergmann inspired her to have confidence and his passion for journalism deeply influenced her, and she in turn, strived to meet his standards and never let him down.
